For sprint/rally GT short distance races, MOTUL has developed high-performance synthetic ester-based lubricants for over decades. These lubricants are designed for use in all racing gasoline or diesel engines, whether naturally aspirated or turbocharged, and fitted with direct/indirect injection or carbureted systems. They are also formulated for race-prepared engines operating over a wide range of RPM and temperatures.

By selecting esters as the base stock and combining them with an innovative additive package, MOTUL has created a perfect synergy. This most advanced ESTER Core Technology allows maximum power output from the engine without compromising reliability and wear. To ensure optimal engine performance, it is recommended to avoid mixing the lubricant with other synthetic or mineral-based lubricants.

The SAE 5W-40 viscosity grade provides excellent oil flow into the engine at start-up, enabling fast oil pressure establishment. At high temperatures, it ensures high oil pressure and faster engine revving. The SAE 5W-40 viscosity also compensates for moderate engine oil dilution by unburned fuel, maintaining a stable oil pressure.

The lubricant offers maximum oil film resistance at very high temperatures, resulting in reduced engine wear. Its friction modifier properties contribute to maximum power output and decreased operating temperature. The low volatility of the lubricant leads to reduced oil consumption, while its high shear stability ensures stable oil pressure under various operating conditions.
