Motul 107972 6100 SYN-nergy 5W-30 Motor Oil 5-Liter Bottles - Set of 2

This advanced Technosynthese lubricant is specifically designed for high performance and protection in powerful and recent cars fitted with gasoline or diesel engines, including naturally aspirated, turbocharged, indirect, and direct injection systems. It is suitable for all types of fuel, including leaded and unleaded gasoline, ethanol, LPG, diesel, and biofuel, and is compatible with catalytic converters. The lubricant can be mixed with synthetic or mineral oils.

The lubricant's viscosity grade is SAE J 300/5W-30, with a density of 0.868 g/cm³ at 20°C (68°F) (ASTM D1298). The viscosity at 40°C (104°F) is 71.2 mm²/s (ASTM D445), and at 100°C (212°F) it is 11.8 mm²/s (ASTM D445). The high-temperature high-shear (HTHS) viscosity at 150°C (302°F) is 3.5 mPa·s (ASTM D4741). The viscosity index is 173 (ASTM D2270), and the pour point is -38°C (-36°F) (ASTM D97). The flash point is 224°C (435°F) (ASTM D92), and the sulfated ash content is 1.1% by weight (ASTM D874). The total base number (TBN) is 10.2 mg KOH/g (ASTM D2896).
